Roots & Wings Pediatrics

We are so grateful for Dr. Wendy Stevens. She always answers our calls and texts, she has come to our house, she is so understanding and flexible. She is not just a doctor to us as this point. The level of compassion, understanding and availability she has is something I have never experienced in my 28 years of life. As first time parents we are unsure and anxious at times and Dr. Stevens is not always there to ease our worries but to help our baby boy immediately we he needs it. We are forever grateful for her and cannot recommend her enough. She and roots and wings pediatrics is everything and more healthcare SHOULD be.

We went to Roots and Wings and my kids absolutely loved it. We went for vaccines (which my kids hate) and as we left, my kids asked to switch their pediatrician so they could see Dr. Sinclair. She was great with the kids and her office is so much more inviting than a regular doctor's office. As a pediatrician myself, this is how medicine should be. Highly recommend!

Roots & Wings Pediatrics is amazing. My wife and I count ourselves very fortunate that they were recommended to us by our doula. We are extremely satisfied with the care and service our son receives. We have recommended several friends to the practice, and we never hesitate to recommend them to anyone when the topic of pediatric care is brought up.Roots & Wings’ model is the antithesis of everything that makes modern healthcare challenging and frustrating. While they will visit you in your home, they also have a warm and welcoming patient space that is thoughtfully designed around the needs of parents and their children. It provides areas for siblings to play or read while also creating a comfortable, living room-esque seating area for parents to meet with the pediatrician. We have never had to wait in a waiting room for an appointment and have never felt pressured on the time we spend with our pediatrician. We have had appointments that last from half an hour to an hour and a half because we were having in-depth conversations around a multitude of topics.Our son has the pleasure of being a patient Dr. Stevens, who is a wonderful mix of brilliant, thoughtful, kind, and patient. She helps to inform you on the myriad decisions involved with raising and caring for your children without ever over-inserting her opinion. She is an encyclopedia of information in regards to medical journals and studies and also isn’t afraid to tell you when she needs to look into something further. Dr. Stevens is amazing, and I have no hesitation in recommending her to any and everyone who wants quality, personalized pediatric care for their family.
