Nooo. Their right hand has no idea what their left hand is doing.I got a lot of misinformation promises about what they provide.Mia said once payment is received a navigator reaches out and explains whatever you need to know about the practice and benefits. Then she recommended a Dr there who had great reviews but I chose a female instead ( Dr Edelman) and we spoke and I learned Mia had been mistaken about her explaining the situation about insurance and she just didn't seem that interested or knowledgable but I decided to give her a try anyway and she said she'd check her schedule and have someone get back to me to schedule an appt. Then not only did a navigator ever get back, neither did Mia to explain the insurance as Dr Edelman said, nor did anyone call back to scheudlean appt.As 5 pm approached I called back the number Mia prior answered and it went to voice mail. I sent an email questioning why nothing they said they'd do they did.Ok i get a nice woman in the phone and connection is bad but she transfers me to Jeni who was nice and articulate and smart and seemed to have all the answers and infoI felt awful because she had sent me an email a few minutes before I called asking why nobody had gotten back and apologized as I was wrong but can’t seem to figure out why, if Dr Edelman said she’d have to check her schedule and someone would get back to me, suddenly they said I had an appt at 1pm on Monday.Lies or just irresponsible behavior I don’t mind and even expect occasionally from people but not a Dr. Ok at a loss how the Dr could say she made an appt with me when clearly she wouldn’t and couldn’t until she checked her schedule and someone had just walked into her office so maybe she was too busy to look at her book and I’m just not sure how that could happen .Either way it’s not meant to be and Mia did say they’re going to refund the $16,000 concierge fee but the whole thing was disturbing and not what I’d expect from Mt Sinai. If you’re healthy and have the money to spare and want all kinds of tests a regular dr can’t do then it’s probably a great idea but if you’re not healthy or have a problem going on I wouldn’t take a chance on them because they seem except for Jeni to not have any idea what they’re doing and maybe they get a commission if they get you to join (I’ll have to look into that) but that could explain the sudden ghosting after payment was made. It’s a great hospital but like anyone and anywhere I think it’s subject to the drs you see.Other than that I can’t speak on the offices or cleanliness or any providers than Dr Edelman and my experience which is limited to the call and the weird appointment that a medical Dr said she made with me which never happened.

Health Center is an oasis amid a beleaguered U.S. health system, one under particular stress at the moment. I only wish that all of my fellow Americans could have access to a facility that ran with such efficiency, care for the patient, and proactive outlook. Not only do I benefit from superb care from my Primary Care provider. She coordinates all my relations to the health system. Every one of her referrals to the medical specialties has proven a winner. My Primary Care provider is meticulous in the tests she orders for me; she then takes the time to explain the results and how they impact on my optimal health. Of recent years, HCHY has folded in such specialties as dermatology, cardiology, and PT, situating more and more care in its calm, patient-friendly location. The entire facility radiates the aura of a winning team. The idealism and empathy with which the physicians comport clearly carries over to nurses, doctors' assistants, and all other staff--who are over-the-top friendly and helpful. In all my time there, I've never seen any fellow-patient treated with anything other than the respect and dedication with which I've been treated. Regardless of how long I'm fated to hang around on this planet, I have NO doubt that my association with HCHY will have prolonged the active and productive years of my life.

I have been going to the Health Center at Hudson Yards for about two years now. Before that my Primary Care Physician was at Weill Cornell and when she switched to the health center I was reluctant to follow her. I'm so very glad I did. On the one hand Amanda Carmel is the most remarkable PCP I've had in my 78 years. She is thoroughly caring in the profound sense of that word, listens to all you have to say, runs through all possibilities that your symptoms might suggest, asks you to contribute to the conversation, and always makes certain you get all the time with her you need and all the care you need from others as well. She has several times, in difficult moments, followed up with me by calling, even late at night, to ask how I was doing, something I've never experienced with any other doctor--The Health Center is a totally different medical experience from anything I had known previously. Everyone there is friendly, helpful, cheerful--and beyond that efficient and knowledgeable in whatever role they play. You never have a wait. You never place a question that is not followed up. One has the sense of remarkable medical intelligence combined with a respect for the patient which is thoroughly unusual. When the covid vaccine became available to my age group in January 2020, they called me and found an appointment for me on the first day. Let that example stand for the excellence of their service and their devotion to their patients.***********What you read above was written four years ago. I add this in 2025. Just to give you a sense of the place: Health Center at Hudson Yards is ONCE AGAIN, in 2025 as in 2021, in a new moment when vaccinations are hard to come by, arranging both flu and covid vaccines for its patients. This is a health organization that pro-actively takes care of its patients. I don't believe you can do better!
