Dr. Bradford C. Rabin, MD

Dr. Bradford Rabin has been my primary care physician for over 25 years. Brad provides a high level of medical care and is always up to date with current medical research. I have always appreciated his responsiveness to my calls and texts and his ability to refer me to top specialists in the Bay Area should I need them. He cares very deeply about his patients. I am currently 71 years old and Brad’s practice also focuses on enhancing quality of life and longevity by offering various diagnostic tools and scans. This includes attention to diet, exercise, mobility and overall wellbeing a whole mind body approach to health. Dr. Rabin is the most outstanding physician I have ever met

It is rare to find a doctor with his depth of knowledge and experience who also is willing to go the extra mile for his patients. He generously shares his experience, and is incredibly responsive. Dr. Bradford Rabin has been my primary care physician for over fifteen years. He is not just brilliant and caring. He is also constantly reading the most recent studies on a wide variety of medical specialties so he can make an intelligent diagnosis and care recommendations for each of his patients when needed. A recent case in point is my own. At my recent annual physical exam, Brad (as he likes to be called) thought my cholesterol levels could be improved and recommended a coronary artery calcium scan. The result led to necessary changes in my lifestyle that I may not have otherwise made and which could add years to my life. My cardiologist never thought to make such a recommendation. My point here is that Dr. Rabin's practice of medicine is always focused as much on the future of his patient as it is on the present.I am, by nature, not one to accept mediocrity or even above average talent when I need the advice and care of a physician. When I think of Dr. Rabin, I think of what all physicians should strive to be - thoughtful, caring, and up to date with the most recent studies as they affect each individual patient.Several years ago, Brad inadvertently used the word "singular" to describe a neurologist whom we both agreed was truly exceptional. The word "singular" then became my definition of the physician I wanted to find in any specialty I may require care for in the future. In so doing, I understand I may have considerably narrowed the choice of physicians who might be available to me. But that's OK.
