Dr Lasala and his team are amazing! They are responsive, there is a 24 hour phone number, a live person answers the phone, and Dr Lasala, Lindsay, Blaine and Tierra are always personable and I truly feel cared about and cared for. They all take the time to hear me out, schedule all my appointments (lab, etc.) for me... such a value added benefit!

ShockedI moved to Tucson about 11 months ago with great excitement. I was looking for some new sounds and sights - and new doctors. Dr Lasala had a good reputation, both by personal referral and by internet reviews. I was looking forward to having him as a doctor, as I have numerous health issues and I had heard that he spent lots of time with patients, being a concierge doctor. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. The first couple of months went fairly smooth. My service started to falter when I think I may have upset a staff member over a medication issue, but I am not sure. From that time forward, it seemed as though my relationship with Lindsey was strained. It was never explained to me, why this staff person had an issue with me and my medical needs. After approximately 5 months, I confronted this staff member. She was not receptive to my phone call inquiring why my situation had become more difficult. I did not understand why my requests were not being addressed or acknowledged, I became frustrated and we both raised our voices. I made an appointment with Dr. Lasala, intending to discuss my medical issues. After I hung up making the appointment, Lindsey called me back and inquired why I had requested this appointment and I responded that this was between the doctor and I. I thought this was highly inappropriate. When I went in for that appointment, the nurse practitioner met with me instead. I had made an appointment with Dr. Lasala and I was disappointed that they did not honor my request or inform me that he would not be meeting with me. I had only met with him at our introductory meeting and one other meeting regarding my annual physical. Shortly after that, I was called and given an appointment to meet with Dr. Lasala for my 3 month evaluation. This didn’t make sense to me, as it wasn’t time for an evaluation, but I wanted to see the doctor, so I kept that appointment. When I arrived, I sat down, anxious to speak with the doctor. I was ready to chat about an upcoming heart ablation, amongst my other various medical issues. Before I could get a word out, he informed me that he would not continue to be my doctor anymore and that I had a month to find a doctor, and if needed, he would do my meds for 3-6 months, depending upon the medication. I was shocked, as I did not see this coming. I was with him less than 6 months and saw him only in the first month. I offered to explain anything but he did not give me an opportunity. This was very disheartening, because his explanation concluded that I was being deceptive or dishonest and that was not the case. He asked if I had made an appointment with a new pain management doctor, I had explained that they don’t make appointments without records and my doctor in Nevada had not sent them yet. He asked the wrong questions and I was the one to suffer for his rigidity regarding my situation. I asked him to call my Pain management in Las Vegas or the New pain management and they will both tell you that I have made the requests for medical records and have called them about it many times so it would get done. The pain management contract between Dr. Lasala and I, he had not even had me sign until I had been with him for over 5 months. Not even one month later, he informed me about this decision to drop me as a patient. I had not been told I was in violation of our contract EVER, including that morning. In fact, I had signed the contract 3-4 weeks earlier. His pulling the rug from under me set my emotional and physical health back. It is not an easy thing to find a general practitioner in Tucson. It took me months to get into Dr. Lasala. The stress affected my well-being, in a variety of ways. A spiral of emotional and physical symptoms set in after that and took months to recover. To this day, I still am not sure what I did to warrant this action.Scott Ober

Not sure what has happened to this practice in the last 4 yrs.... Tried to establish care since our old PCP retired beginning in July 2023... The Office was nonresposive to online contact form submission for 1.5 months... So I called & left a voice message requestinga call back ... Well it has been 3 weeks & haven't received any phone calls from the office... Not even a call to inform me that there is no availability... Just glad we were not in dire need of a PCP nearby... SOOO... patient beware
