11 months agoDr. Laurie Troup has been the primary care physician in charge of my parents health over the past 7-8 years. Dr. Troup has taken excellent care of them, especially through challenging times. She has always been intensely interested in their health and well-being, wanting to truly help make their golden years more golden. My parents were in Naples for just the winter, but Dr. Troup always made a fantastic effort to know what had been occurring with their health while they were up north. She did her best to always obtain records from the northern doctors's office and she also willingly shared information with any other doctors to help make sure that my parents care was as seamless as possible. As a physician myself, I was always impressed with Dr. Troup's knowledge, compassion and her genuine care for my parents. My father had multiple hospitalizations and we could always count on Dr. Troup to come visit my father at least once a day while he was in the hospital. Dr. Troup would always talk to the hospitalists as well as any of the consulting specialists to give them a thorough history about my dad in order to help guide them with an appropriate plan of care for my father while he was admitted to the hospital.After my father would be discharged from the hospital, Dr. Troup would always follow up to make sure things were going well.In this day and age of confusing medical care, Dr. Troup is a perfect physician to help care for you or loved ones when things are well, but more importantly, when things are not going well. She will not treat you or your loved ones as a number, she will treat them as a person who is important and their life matters. She will do all that she can to make sure that you receive excellent care.So if you are looking for a physician that is warm, caring, knowledgeable, and willing to help you, then look no further than Dr. Laurie Troup.

11 months agoI have had the privilege to work with Dr. Troup over the past 5 years. Being a Nurse for over 25 years, I have worked with many doctors, but very rarely was I impressed. Dr. Troup is different. Her compassionate caring demeanor, her knowledge and intellect is second to none. I saw her maintain patients quality of life, and extend their time here with dignity and integrity. She is an amazing human and doctor.
