Dr. Polackwich did an excellent job with the surgery, and I am very happy with the results.Cindy Tenorio was incredibly professional, organized, and helpful throughout the entire process. She was always responsive, answered all of my questions, and made sure everything was clearly explained, which made the experience much less stressful.I highly recommend Dr. Polackwich and his team to anyone considering surgery.

in the last weekDO NOT — I REPEAT — DO NOT GO TO CARDIOLOGY AT MOUNT SINAI MIAMI BEACH.This has been one of the most frustrating and unprofessional medical experiences our family has ever gone through.They kept my father admitted for almost two months, running every possible test, only to later tell us they could not perform the surgery. After we made the difficult decision to move his care to Cleveland Clinic, they called us back saying they could do the surgery after all. Then, once we were unable to switch insurance a second time, they reversed their decision again and said no.The lack of consistency, communication, and professionalism was shocking. The team contradicted themselves repeatedly and kept giving us the runaround, despite us clearly expressing that my father had no quality of life and urgently needed a solution.This dragged on through Christmas, my birthday, my son’s birthday, and during a time when my wife is pregnant and still helping manage this case. The emotional toll on our family was enormous.In the end, after months of delays, they simply said they were “not comfortable” performing the surgery — something they could have told us from the beginning instead of wasting precious time.I would never recommend this cardiology department to anyone. Families deserve honesty, consistency, and respect — none of which we received here.
